We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, We may not be able to eradicate poverty completely, but we can invent ways and means which may lead us to sustainable livelihood and employment opportunities for people in need.  True, economic empowerment cannot be achieved without proper trainings and capacity building. And, similarly, for social development, it is necessary to address the root cause of under development, which is poverty.

We are well aware of the bitter reality that poverty breeds crimes and social disorder in society. So, it is incumbent on us to come up with different schemes for creating livelihood opportunities.  On the importance of having meaningful economic activity I would like to quote Jane Addams, who says that of all the aspects of social misery, nothing is more heartbreaking than unemployment.  SSTD, therefore, has emerged with a slogan ‘Youth skilled, unemployment killed’ and, so, it has taken initiatives in providing a good number of skills through various development projects in the far-flung impoverished areas of the country.  The need based trainings have been proved highly beneficial in enhancing skills of the people to earn their livelihood in a dignified manner.

SSTD aims to continue to play a significant role in helping those who are vulnerable in terms of food, education and basic health facilities. Since 2005, SSTD has been an Implementing Partner of different well known international organizations-such as, WFP, Muslim Hands, German Helfen, ILO, Care International and USAID. The whole idea of becoming anImplementing Partner is to facilitate the quake, flood and war affected communities in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA region.
In short, this is the right time to come forward, raise the emblem of human rights, and help those who are yearning and struggling for a better change in their lives. Let’s dedicate the year, 2011 to those who stand in dire need of our help and support.
